Digital Strategy and Content Director
Cecilia joined WE in June 2019 as Digital Strategy and Content Director. Prior to that, she was Head of Social Media, News and Content at Cancer Research UK, the largest not-for-profit in the UK.
At Cancer Research UK, she was responsible for the charity's brands, strategy, creative output, paid media and reputation on digital channels, such as social media and blogs. There she grew and led a team of 20, comprising of social media and content managers, community managers and moderators, and science content and creative specialists.
Cecilia has been working in the digital, social and content space for the last 12 years, both agency and client side, leading the evolution of strategy for high profile brands as the digital landscape has rapidly grown and evolved.
Before Cancer Research UK, she worked in creative and media agencies such as MediaCom, VCCP, and Havas, leading strategy and campaigns across several sectors and clients, including Selfridges, EE, GSK, E.On, Xbox, Weetabix, Deutsche Bank, Universal, Coors Light, Unilever, Nokia and more, both in the UK and across international markets.
